Raised Stair Access Platform
A public-safe case study for an elevated access platform developed around measured site conditions. The assembly combines stair access, intermediate landings, grating panels, support towers, handrails, spreader plates, and connection details into a coordinated fabrication-ready model.
Project Overview
The raised stair access platform package was produced to convert access requirements into a controlled SolidWorks assembly and fabrication reference set. The model coordinates stair geometry, upper platform levels, handrail continuity, grating panels, support towers, base plates, spreader plates, and interface clearances before release to manufacture.

Engineering Challenge
The main engineering challenge was coordinating a raised access route between existing building interfaces while keeping the system practical for fabrication, delivery, and installation. The public website version avoids internal drawing references and only exposes approved visual and redacted resources.
Design Solution
The final solution uses a modular stair and platform assembly with grating floors, handrail guarding, braced support towers, spreader plates, bolted interface details, and fabrication-ready structure. The public-facing package follows the W1/W2 pattern with a render, GLB model, and redacted assembly PDF once supplied.
Key Features
- Elevated stair and access platform coordinated around existing building interfaces
- Grating panel layout with continuous handrails and protected landing zones
- Braced support towers and spreader plates for load distribution
- Fabrication-ready steel structure prepared for shop-floor interpretation
- Website-ready GLB model for public visual inspection
- Public-safe redacted assembly PDF slot prepared for approved documentation
Project Deliverables
- SolidWorks assembly model and web-ready GLB export
- Clean platform render for the raised stair access platform
- Redacted assembly drawing pack placeholder ready for approved public PDF
- BOM-sensitive data excluded from public-facing website resources
- Confidential manufacturing identifiers removed from website copy
